Clearwater Marine Aquarium. There they learn how veterinarians are

From muck to eggs, birds to trees: the Aqua Kids help out with
everything imaginable while visiting Lake Okeechobee. The kids help
scientists remove sediment from the bottom of the lake, as well as
collect and release eggs of an important keystone species - the
Apple Snail. This snail is important because it’s a main food
source for the snail kite, a bird that is locally endangered in the
Florida Everglades. By increasing its food and planting trees to
provide more habitats, the kids and scientists hope to help this
beautiful bird flourish once again.
